1. Information We Collect

When you use our website and services, we may collect the following information:

  • Personal information: Name, email address, phone number, and other details you provide when registering for events, booking consultations, purchasing products, or subscribing to our newsletter.
  • Health information: Symptoms, health quiz responses, and consultation notes shared during your use of our tools and services.
  • WhatsApp data: Messages exchanged with MenoVoice (our WhatsApp assistant) including phone numbers and conversation content.
  • Programme data:When you join MenoClub, Step & Share or book a health screening we keep your name, phone number, email (optional), state, age band, membership status and screening preferences so we can run the programme and, for screenings, share your name, phone and chosen centre with our diagnostics partner.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, device type, browser and referring URLs collected through our own analytics. IP addresses are hashed before storage and raw analytics are deleted after 90 days.
  • Payment information: Transaction references processed securely through Paystack. We do not store card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our services, including consultations, event management, and product delivery
  • To operate MenoVoice, our WhatsApp health assistant
  • To process payments and manage orders
  • To send you relevant health information, event reminders, and newsletters (with your consent)
  • To generate anonymised health insights for research and education
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: Paystack (payments), Resend (email), 41Plus.africa (WhatsApp messaging) — only the minimum data needed to operate these services
  • Advertising partners (only if you accept ad cookies):Meta and TikTok receive page visits and generic events (for example “started a checkout” or “used a free tool”). For paid orders we send Meta your email and phone number only as one-way hashes, plus the amount, so it can measure our campaigns. We never send your symptoms, tool answers or results.
  • Healthcare professionals: Consultation details shared with your assigned consultant
  • Legal requirements: When required by Nigerian law or to protect our rights

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4b. How Long We Keep Data

  • Orders, bookings and programme payments: 7 years (tax and accounting law).
  • MenoVoice WhatsApp conversations: 12 months after the last message, then deleted; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • MenoClub membership details: until you ask to leave the club.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics: 90 days (raw) — only aggregated counts are kept longer.

5. Your Rights

We process personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) on the basis of your consent (which every form asks for) and, for purchases, the contract you enter with us. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
  • Opt out of WhatsApp communications by messaging "STOP"
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng) if you believe we have mishandled your data

6. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working: your cookie choice (msi_consent, 12 months), which ad campaign brought you here (msi_utm, 30 days, stays on our site) and, for staff, the admin sign-in. Our own visit statistics use no third-party cookies.

Advertising cookies(Meta Pixel: _fbp, _fbc; TikTok Pixel: _ttp) are set only if you choose “Accept analytics & ads”. Until then, and if you choose “Essential only”, no Meta or TikTok code is loaded. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; withdrawing removes those cookies from this site.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
